Annotating Your Sources

I hope everyone had a safe and fun Halloween weekend!

This week we are still focusing on research and how to turn your research into an annotated bibliography. On Tuesday, I will introduce your annotated bibliography assignment both on the blog and in class. We will also talk more about narrowing down your topic for the final research essay. Remember you want to make sure you choose a topic that not only interests you, but that you will be able to write an informative essay using scholarly sources.

For Tuesday’s class you need to read chapters 19, 20,  and 21 in Everyone’s an Author. They’re not long chapters, so don’t freak out about the amount of reading. I’m keeping this post brief because we will go over things in more detail in class, and that way I’m not receiving a ton of questions that will be answered at that time.

We will discuss Thursday’s reading/assignment in class on Tuesday, so if you’re not there you will miss out.

Blog Post: None (I’m still catching up on grading and I don’t want to assign another one until I’ve caught up).

See you Tuesday!
